STEP CERTIFICATION

This one-day workshop presents research in physiology, biomechanics and injury prevention. Also covered are skills for cueing, using music and building combinations. 5 CEUs for AFAA certified professionals.

Prerequisites: AFAA Primary Group Exercise Certification, and Step Training Home Study are useful precursors. Current CPR certification required before certificate is issued.
Includes: Study guide (shipping additional), one-day workshop, written and practical exams, one-year AFAA membership or extender, including a subscription to American Fitness magazine.
Study Materials: Step Training: A Manual for Instructors (required), Fitness: Theory & Practice textbook.
